MyCloset.com is an innovative community-driven, fashion–based Web site that offers a unique view into our users’ lives and styles. Take a peek inside the ultimate cache of personal fashion: closets. The MyCloset.com Web site showcases closets from community members as well as emerging designers and established fashion houses. With global flair and an easy-to-use interface, MyCloset.com connects those that are interested in the world of fashion, style and collecting. MyCloset.com offers a distinctive community in which our members can display their collections, shop, build virtual outfits, compare, organize their wardrobes and share photographs and videos. The MyCloset.com user can obtain expert advice from fashionistas, other community members or their own private group of friends.

My Closet (Your personal closet)

This is the MyCloset.com community members showcase and outfit building area. This is where our community members can organize and display their wardrobe, family, friends, collections and worldly possessions. In this customizable section, MyCloset.com community members are encouraged to be creative and try our innovative outfit building tools. These tools allow the community members to mix and match their existing wardrobe and instantly and virtually create new outfits. The community members can also mix and match their wardrobe with other community members’ wardrobes and various designers’ collections. Creating personalized ‘Wish List’ and ‘Desires’ are great unique features for the members. These specialty registries can also be emailed to others outside of MyCloset.com for gifting opportunities.

The Look Books and the My World sections of the My Closet space are all about you. Chatting and blogging are definitely encouraged!

Look Books

The designated Look Book section of the My Closet space allows our community members to view their entire wardrobe and accessories at a glance or divide them into the fashion flow of their lives: Business Look Books, Sports Look Books, Vacation Look Books, Evening Look Books and more. The Look Books can also be used for non-fashion stylish items. The innovation continues with the one-of-a-kind feature that allows our community members to compose virtual outfits instantaneously by trying new mixes of their own personal wardrobe. The community members can even make new outfits by integrating their current clothing with Wish List items selected from emerging and established fashion designers’ collections, reputable shops and boutiques.

The Wish List contains items that a community member aspires to own Items that members want to purchase are housed here and Wish Lists can also be sent out for others to purchase as gifts In most cases the member will be notified when items are purchased and then the items could be moved permanently into the member’s wardrobe. One can always build outfits with the Wish List items and use it as a personal functional gift registry. We also offer a My Details section that allows our members to post their sizes and personal information for any category of their preference. This feature assists others in purchasing the perfect gift for our members!

My World

This is the section that is totally customizable by our members. Personal albums may be created with unique titles to showcase any and everything in one’s world. Individual albums can be created such as: a Travel album, Favorite Celebrity album, Family album, Pet album or anything that a member chooses. The My World section is also the perfect place to display collections such as coins, wine, cars, books, etc. The My World section, along with the Look Book area also houses the My Details feature which includes members’ personal preferences, sizes and other usable information. In addition, all non-fashion items that are wished for may be placed into the My Desires album and each page can be emailed to friends and family. Other unique sections allow our community members to organize their favorite photographs, post blogs, videos and more.
