Jamie-Lynn Sigler

A Fashion Maven of Many Talents

J
amie Lynn Sigler’s big break was portraying Meadow, Tony Soprano’s daughter on the critically acclaimed HBO series “The Sopranos”. For six seasons, Sigler took on the role of an Italian-American mobster’s tough, intelligent and perceptive first-born growing up in New Jersey. While those qualities translate to her real life, Sigler’s doe eyed charm blends the girl next door characteristic with a seductive quality exclusive to ethnic brunettes. With a Cuban mother and Greek, Romanian Jewish father, her cultural mix gives her a uniqueness that transcends any one ethnicity, making her a genuine beauty, always ready to dress according to her mood!
Even before the Soprano’s ended Jamie-Lynn Sigler began breaking out of the Meadow mold to show off her many talents. Between appearing in a national tour, on Broadway, writing a book, and starting a jewelry line, she has also appeared in a variety of movies and television shows and started a foundation. But one thing is for certain, she loves showing up in New York City during fashion week to check out the runways! We were given the chance to ask Jamie-Lynn her thoughts on fashion and what she really wears.

MyCloset.com.com: Who are some of your favorite designers?

JLS: I’m really into Phillip Lim. I’ve gotten a lot of Miu Miu stuff lately and Chloe, especially their shoes. I’m wearing them right now. They’re really comfortable but they’re different. I feel like they can make my outfit. They are the perfect accessories.

MyCloset.com.com: What do you love about your closet and what do you hate about it?

JLS: I love that it’s organized and coordinated because I’m completely obsessed and I need to see everything. I’m very fortunate that I live in Manhattan and I have a big closet so that I can see everything that I own.

MyCloset.com.com: How do you separate? Dresses, trousers, color?

JLS: Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
