earing MapleXO is an uber-hip way of saving landfill space in style. With skateboarding constantly growing as an activity and a culture, the amount of used skateboards is significantly growing in the landfill… "Help make skateboarding greener, wear MapleXO".

Lindsay Jo Holmes is the genius behind the MapleXO brand.

She was born and raised in San Diego and now resides in diverse Portland, Oregon. She recalls, "Since I was old enough to dress myself, I never wanted to look like everyone else. I guess you could say that I've always had my own "style" growing up...sometimes it was more fashion-awkward than fashion-forward, but fashion has always been something that has intrigued me."

Lindsay believes whole-heartedly in positively impacting the planet and she exudes this within her amazingly unique jewelry line.

Before the birth of the MapleXO brand, Lindsay only made clothing and jewelry for herself. It wasn't until she started making the infamous skateboard jewelry that she wanted to see other people wearing her creations. "It's my favorite thing ever to see a complete stranger wearing a pair of MapleXO earrings," Lindsay exclaims.

One of the first items that Lindsay remembers making for someone besides herself was a hand-made Christmas card. She made this card especially for her friend named Vince. Vince owned the Jedidiah Clothing Company and upon receipt of the card was marveled by the imaginative elements. "The moment he saw it, before even reading what I wrote inside, he asked me to design a t-shirt that looked like the front of the card. The shirt turned out pretty cool, but I don't think I ever got one!" she muses.

Lindsay describes that her quality jewelry gives re-life to skateboards. When asked about the name of her fashionable jewelry line she states…‘MapleXO’ because “‘skateboards are made from Maple trees… and then I added the XO to give the name the feel of Maple trees with Love”. Hence, ‘MapleXO’!
