he use of luxe fabrics and the style of design construction that produce wares which make women feel good and fashionable is the core of the Gwen Beloti line and it is apparent in this fabulous new collection.

Designer Gwen Beloti has an admiration for labels such as Oscar De La Renta, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, and Yves Saint Laurent. And like these remarkable labels, she hopes to also become a household name. Her inspiration derives from what looks appealing. "When I design pieces for my collection I think about what will look and feel good and fit well. What sleeve would go great with what neckline, what buttons and trimming could turn a simple dress into a show-stopper. Once the design concept is thought out and the color and fabric pallet are determined, I then let my garments tell the story as they are brought to life.”

MyCloset.com caught up with Emerging Designer, Gwen Beloti to find out what she's been up to since her last collection. "I've been busy, of course working on the latest collection that I recently showcased. I've also been going to a number of fashion events throughout the city. Networking is very important and I've met a lot of great people that I'll be potentially partnering up with in the future. My designs are now being sold in a new in-store boutique as well as an online store. Overall I've been busy trying to do more than just continue the GB collection but to also broaden the scope of the brand. I've also been working on something that is dear to me and has become and intricate part of the brand and that is my community service projects. I have three different social action projects of which the mission is the empowerment of young women.
