Jacinta Ligon is one of MyCloset.com's coveted emerging designers. We have been following her success and her ascension to the top of the fashion hierarchy over the past year. Since Jacinta’s last feature on MyCloset.com (which was one of our members' favorites), Jacinta has been extremely busy. She has showcased her dramatic designs in Miami Fashion Week, has headlined her own fashion shows in such prestigious venues as the Setai on South Beach and the Viceroy in Miami . And she has even been heralded as one of The 33 Emerging Creative Minds You Need to Know for 2010 in South of Fifth Magazine presented by Loreal Professionnel. Furthermore, her work has appeared in several esteemed publications.

MyCloset.com caught up with the busy designer to find out what is on the horizon and what has been happening since her last MyCloset.com feature: What has been the reason behind your recent success? "I think I've always been successful. Some measure success by accolades but I measure mine by happiness. I'm happy doing what I do. I may not have made Project Runway or won a competition, but the success in both is that I went for it. I truly love what I do, and anyone who loves what they do has accomplished the ultimate success. As far as Project Runway goes, let's just say, I will let you know if I will audition again."
