atie Nehra is not your typical designer, her passions run from actor to designer and right back to actor. After seeing a void in the marketplace for clothing she would like to wear, Katie assessed the situation and decided to create her own line called Simone. Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington are just a few of the celebs seen wearing Simone dresses around town.

Katie Simone Nehra is an actress who resides in New York and Los Angeles. She has appeared in numerous productions in New York. Including John Patrick Shanley's Sailor Song and Eric Bogosian's 1+1 both at The Public Theatre. She recently shot her first film, Red Angel opposite Fisher Stevens in upstate New York. It will be premiering at this Years Tribeca Film Festival.

Always having been a fan of fashion, she decided to design a dress line last April. She designed things that she would like to see hanging in her closet. Things she had dreamed of but could never find. Now, Katie is working on Spring 08 and will begin pre-production on her next film, a short, Simone, which is written by John Patrick Shanley.
