Jasmine Al Fayed
"I love the story of Venus de Milo – the idea that there is no creator. She's the ultimate mystery."
Jasmine, born in 1980 attended London College of Fashion and Central St. Martins. She also obtained a one-year apprenticeship in the sewing workrooms at Harrods department store in London and also took several short courses "to fill the gaps in my knowledge". This young designer's first boutique debuted in Harrods stores in 2003. Her designs are described as traditional couture technique mixed with off-beat tailoring. Her sophisticated looks are often combined with a dark, edgy contemporary feel. She has a flavor within her designs that is very sensual and most welcomed on the red carpet. Her edgy night and daywear match perfectly with the ‘Hollywood Chic’ and her worldly inspirations are evident throughout her sultry and sometimes Gothic creations.
