What has been your biggest fashion faux-pas?

OMG! Birkenstocks with socks!

If you could only shop at one store, which would it be?

Saks. I die in there everytime.

If you could change one thing about your closet, what would it be?

I need to buy more quality less quantity. I'm really working on not buying stuff just because its on sale. It's so hard!

Survival of the fittest: What is one item in your closet that you will never get rid of?

Black Theory legging pants.

If you were given the opportunity to have a famous designer revamp your entire wardrobe, who would you choose?

Rachel Roy. I love her aesthetic. Her new line at Macy's is fantastic! and so affordable!

Name an actor/singer/celebrity whose wardrobe you admire the most.

I really like Sienna Miller, she inspired me to cut my hair!

What are your best and worst fashion purchases?

The best are my J Brand jeans and the worst are some shoes that just really hurt and tear your feet up. Living in NYC you must be able to walk around in shoes or you will die. I don't care what kind of shoes they are, some just really aren't made for walking.

Who makes your favorite pair of jeans? Shoes? Dress or Suit?

So far I love my J Brand jeans, they are super comfortable and don't give you saggy butt at the end of the day!

If you had to describe your personal style in one word, what would it be?

Eclectic.

If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be?

Bell Bottoms! For some reason I really want some lately. Maybe I am getting sick of all the skinny jeans.

What was the very first thing you ever made?

It was a gold knit tube top and matching assymmetrical skirt with sequins sewn on in a starburst pattern. I was about 19 and I sewed it by hand because I didn't have a sewing machine or even know how to use one.

What era influences you the most right now?

Right now I really love the 60's, probably because I am watching Mad Men all the time. I am obsessed with the character Joan Clayton on the show. So much so I went out and bought a matte red lipstick. It's great! It makes you feel so womanly, it literally transforms the way you feel. Back then everyone looked so perfect all the time, people do not dress up that way anymore. I'm starting to collect old magazines from the 60's for the great photos and inspiration.

If we took a peek into your personal closet, what would we find?

In my closet you will find a lot of black Theory leggings (they are awesome) and lots of jewel tones. Recently I have been obsessed with anything hot pink. If I really love something I tend to buy more than one in different colors.
