When asked what customers have to look forward to from this collection Gwen responded "This particular collection that is comprised of colorful asymmetrical cuts which have a futuristic edge and white golden pieces that are flowy and Goddess like, to me it tells the story of the Futuristic Goddess. I am excited about this collection and hope others will be as well. My admiration for silk and color is very evident in this collection. It is a testament to my mission to provide quality pieces with fun, chic and classic elements." The current collection consists of fun, flirty, sophisticated, and classy styles that can be effortlessly be integrated into any wardrobe. Included in the collection are day dresses, cocktail suiting, and red carpet attire.

When creating this new line, what was the process like for you? How did you come up with the concept, colors, shapes, etc.?

How I come up with my concept for the collection is 90% based on garments I think would look, fit, and feel fabulous. I think about construction and the different ways of constructing a piece that would render and amazing garment. I think about what type of sleeves look good with certain necklines, and what trims look good on full or fitted silhouettes. The remaining percentage is based on trends and visual appetite. By that I mean, things I see whether it be in the environment, film, or other artistic outlets that inspire me to use a particular texture, shape or color.

Describe the woman that would feel at home in your Futuristic Goddess line.

I design clothes for women of all ages and avenues. The Gwen Beloti Collection prides itself on creating pieces for an array of occasions. The woman who would feel at home in a GB piece is a woman who is looking for quality and style. Those two components don't come with and age on them. I've dressed woman in their 50's and young women headed to the prom. The woman who would feel at home in a GB piece is a woman who it looking for unique pieces to fill their closet; women Looking for designs that are innovative yet wearable, durable and memorable. GB women are looking for their go to show stopper outfit whether its a simple silhouette for a dinner party or cocktail dress for a red carpet event.

Do your designs reflect your personal wardrobe?

My designs do reflect my personal wardrobe. I try to make only garments that I would wear, and I say that because I'd like to think I have half way decent taste, lol. A number of the pieces from this collection were actually custom designs I made for myself and because of the feedback I got I decided to incorporate aspects of the designs in my collection.

What's next for Gwen Beloti?

Next for Gwen Beloti is another collection, and another collection, and another; but what I want the difference to be, what I want to be evident is growth. I am an emerging designer with hopes and dreams to one day become a household name and I'm willing to put in the work to make it happen. I'm looking to expand the brand in areas of accessories such as jewelry, handbags and shoes. I want my audience to grow with me. I plan to continue to spread the word about GB but to maintain its foundation which is providing quality and style to the GB customer.
