What has been your biggest fashion faux-pas?

I went through this Aaliyah hip-hop phase in my late teens and once wore track suit bottoms with loafers and a bandanna. That was before digital cameras were everywhere. I have since destroyed the paper photographs!

If you could only shop at one store, which would it be?

Wow this is a hard one! Only one? I usually love to shop off the beaten path, independent designers and vintage markets,,,,If I have to choose I would say....You know what I cant shop in only one store....period.

If you could change one thing about your closet, what would it be?

More space! As soon as you have a clearout it fills up again!

Survival of the fittest: What is one item in your closet that you will never get rid of?

I have this 100% silk wrap skirt my mum wore in her teens...its been in and out of fashion and its the one family vintage piece I have got, I shall bequeath it to my granddaughter....

If you were given the opportunity to have a famous designer revamp your entire wardrobe, who would you choose?

Without a doubt Vivienne Westwood, her designs are amazing....I wish she were my great aunt!

Name an actor/singer/celebrity whose wardrobe you admire the most.

Victoria Bechkam. I love her sense of style. I love how she has rebranded herself as a fashion designer in a competitive industry.

What are your best and worst fashion purchases?

I have one that fits into both categories, its this vintage sterling life size lizard pendant chain neck piece I bought. When worn it looks like the lizard is about to crawl into my bosom. It brings opposite extreme reactions whenever I wear it.

Who makes your favorite pair of jeans? Shoes? Dress or Suit?

I am not a jeans fan but I wear a shredded boyish Abercrombie & Fitch pair when I do. I also have this blue print dress I bought from portobello market 6 years ago....I have worn it about a thousand times now....

If you had to describe your personal style in one word, what would it be?

Eclectic.

If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be?

Harem pants. You gotta love them. Comfortable, hides the lumps and bumps. MY male friends detest them but i think they should NEVER go out of fashion.

If we could take a peek into your personal closet, what would we find?

They'll need a search team to find you! I have clothes in there 10 years old. I make a new outfit every time I go out and I almost never throw them away. That’s a habit been going on for ten years. Have search and rescue on auto dial! My friends that are lucky enough to be my size have a never ending designer wardrobe! Who knows what you might find?
