orn and raised in Jericho, New York, Jamie-Lynn Sigler started performing at an early age. By seven years old she began acting and singing classes and performed in many regional theatre productions including such classics like Wizard of Oz, Annie, The Sound of Music, The Wiz and Gypsy. After appearing on The Sopranos, Sigler won the starring role in the National Tour of Cinderella with the legendary Eartha Kitt. The next year she made her Broadway debut in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as the lead Belle. During this time she completed work on her first book, a memoir called Wise Girl, where she recounts her struggle with anorexia. Her book received rave reviews and she has since become the spokesperson for the National Eating Disorders Association and even established the Jamie-Lynn Sigler Foundation to help others and raise awareness.

In an effort to break away from the infamous Meadow, she starred in the USA network TV movie Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss as the title character, along with the mini-series The Gathering co-starring Peter Gallagher and Peter Fonda. In 2008, Sigler partenered with friend Holly Freeman to create a jewelry line, called CJ Free. They started working on this new venture in June and by December of the same year were ready to show off their collection to the world. Each piece contains a beaded element and or a charm; whether it’s a beaded chain necklace, a pendant with beaded edges or loose beads on silk. Their collection of bracelets, bangles, rings and necklaces come in 14K yellow, rose, white gold or sterling silver. Along with designing jewelry, she has appeared in numerous TV shows in either a guest or recurring basis including How I Met Your Mother, Entourage, Ugly Betty, Drop Dead Diva and Last Man Standing. She can also be seen in movies like Dark Ride, I remember, Homie Spumoni, New York City Serenade, Jewtopia, I Do and Divorce Invitation. Most recently though, Sigler was seen in the NBC, Jimmy Fallon created and produced sitcom Guys with Kids.

In 2012 Jamie-Lynn Sigler, thanks to some mutual friends, met Washington National’s infielder Cutter Dykstra and the rest as we say is history. The pair immediately started dating and by January of 2013 they were engaged. Shortly after, the couple found out they were about to be parents! Sigler is now the proud parent of a lovely baby boy and taking on the most important role of her life, motherhood.
