The strapless suit is great because it focuses on gorgeous shoulders. In this print, it appears that your waist is slimmer because of the engineering of the fabric. The black paisley down the middle creates the illusion of a slim waist.

Art Deco black and white dress: Chic and easy because you can roll I t up and throw it in a bag.


Hair: For all these looks I’d wear hair slicked back or pulled into a chignon
Muse: I could see Kate Bosworth in these looks. She’s a classic beauty, well put together, tasteful. However young, she is not Ms. Trendy.

Margarita Ville (Juicy fruit bikinis and strapless cover ups)

This girl could be in Mexico, the Caribbean, or Jamaica. It’s about cocktails on a warm dock, straight from the beach, then dancing.

Color fused cover-ups: The empire dress is flattering because it disguises tough spots: a bloated tummy, for example. The bare shoulders are sexy. And these are perfect to throw in a bag, worn wrinkled and rumpled. They actually look better that way.

Best Accessories: Multicolored or gold or white enamel bangles. Three on one arm. Mix it up!

Hair: Down and shaggy or loose ponytail

Muse: Kate Hudson. She’s sunny and fun.

Nantucket (Striped and polka dot bikinis, navy sundress, strapless red and navy striped dress.)

Great for New England, Cape Cod, boating.

A girl can get away with one of our striped bikinis. The material coverage is minimal and it’s a thinner stripe not a big chunky rugby stripe.

The long dress is great for cocktails on the deck on a home. The short dress is perfect for boutique shopping on Main Street.



Hair: Messy braid on beach, for shopping. Down, blown straight down the middle in the evening.
